Born and raised in a small town in Saskatchewan, gave me ample places and opportunities to explore the wilderness. Nestled between the Wildcat Hills to the North and the Porcupine Hills to the South lies Hudson Bay Saskatchewan, my hometown where I grew up learning to hunt, trap, fish and almost everything wilderness. My family has always had a soft spot for animals and the outdoors. As a young boy in the late 80’s, we seemed to always have some kind of animal that we were either looking after or nursing back to health until able to be on their own again. My first Wild animal baby was a baby beaver that became my best friend. Since that little beaver, we have had everything from moose, bears, birds, reptiles, skunks, raccoons all kinds of animals, even baby mice lol.
Fast forward a bunch of years I find myself with a soft spot for animals still so I decided to give photographing them a try. I bought my first real semi-pro camera and a couple of lenses and started to photograph almost every animal I could find. I photographed animals, landscapes, people, scenery, pretty much anything I could and learned that I enjoyed the hobby. since then , I have gotten a few professional cameras and a couple of drones and photograph and video as much as I can hoping that maybe someday I can be called a professional wildlife and landscape photographer. But until then, I will keep taking pictures and learning more skills to achieve that dream.
I do offer printed photos of my better shots for sale in my online store page. I also do editing, printing and framing of most of them. Check out my portfolio and if you see a photograph you like and would like a printed or framed copy, let me know and i can make it happen…Happy clicking…..
